Been here a few times now and it’s top notch every time. They make these incredibly crispy potatoes, which are tough to explain but worth every bite. Quick & lovely service and a waitlist for brunch (done thru a Yelp service and easy to follow online) so you can get on the list without having to go in first - which is a huge plus in comparison to a lot of other brunch places where you have to physically show up in order to get on the waitlist. Our table got the Eggs Jenny (crispy potatoes), French toast, Biscuit & Gravy (fried chicken), and 2 Basic breakfasts (spicy fries). Everything was as delicious as ever. If you’re looking for a reliable, family-friendly, superb value brunch, this is great.

3 of us stopped here for breakfast after seeing it on several “best of” lists for breakfast spots in Toronto. The portions were generous and the food tasted great. Two of us had the Apple French toast with a side of bacon and the other had “The Basic”. I would highly recommend the Apple French Toast, but the home fries were also very good and a unique take on home fries. The waitress was on top of coffee refills and very attentive. Overall it’s a very solid spot for breakfast or brunch.

One day I stumbled upon Dirty Food on Instagram and so happy I did! My Husband and I always talk about wanting to find places that feel like our “third place” - not work, not home, but a place that feels welcoming and that we love going to. Not to sound cliche, but “where everyone knows your name”. :) Dirty Food quickly became that place for us and one of our favourite restaurants in the city. The food is incredible - best home fries you’ll ever have! The best Bennie’s. Chicken and waffles are out of this World! Fried green tomatoes in the summer are a must! Don’t forget to order a Caesar and homemade cookie or cinnamon roll to go! Everything is clearly made with love, home made and locally sourced. Menus are refreshed regularly based on seasonality of ingredients. The amount of thought that goes into everything clearly shows. The service is outstanding. We walk in the front door and are greeted with a smile and such warmth from our favourite Servers Robyn, Joshy and Sienna. They feel like friends. The service doesn’t end there - coffee and water is always topped up and regular check-ins are made to make sure we’re happy with our food. To our delight, they just started hosting pop-up dinner events too - the dinners have been fabulous! (No surprise) Amazing food (as always) and great ambience. Leslie and Jon are running a top notch establishment. Best brunch in the city. We love Dirty Food and can’t wait to be back again soon.

Enjoy the phenomenal breakfast experience with friends. It was very high to recommended and every dish was prepared with a lot of thought and detail considering these were basically just breakfast sandwiches. The "home fries" are actually potatoes pave! We had a fabulous time and service was very warm and friendly. For sure we would love to come back and sample more of their dishes!

Delicious food, friendly staff, varied menu. Nice looking special dinner menu too! Home fries are incredible and unlike I’ve seen anywhere else. So much love put in to them! They were out of chicken when I went. Guess I’ll have to go back because clearly it’s a hit! Gluten free options

The best home fries I've ever had. Layers of thin cut potatoes cooked then deep fried. Amazing texture amazing taste. My eggs jenny was delicious as was the salad. Definitely going again.

Limited seating, great service, and incredible food! Glad they use an online wait list, made it easy. We had brunch and it was busy, we got on the wait list about 60 minutes before we arrived and still waited about 20 minutes! Worth the planning and waiting!

Best brunch in the West end by far. The homefries are amazing and everything is very tasty. The brisket benny is my go to and the apple pancakes are definitely a must have if you like pancakes. I've been on a weekend and during the weekday and the food and service were best during the week when they weren't slammed.
